Description

David Geffen School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre (DGSD/YRT) seeks a Lead Carpenter who has the ability to execute scenic designs for theatre productions. Carries out duties while exercising a high degree of autonomy and discretion, maintaining high standards for safety and craftsmanship. Must be able to stand for long periods, hold and operate hand, air, and power tools, repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, squat and crouch. Must be able to use a respirator and repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Can climb stairs and work effectively at elevations up to 80'. Valid license and can drive a cargo van and/or departmental truck.
