About

Art is in my blood, In my childhood I took only 4 art classes, but I excelled in art class in grade school. While in high school (Captain Shreve) My Louisiana themed artwork was chosen to hang in the White House. End of my senior year I made a B in art class, this made me a little upset but I applied and got an art scholarship to Manhattan school of art in NYC. It was too expensive to move there even with scholarship so I went to Louisiana Tech as an art school scholarship alternate and majored in Architecture. 2 years of drawing, and building, my favorite classes were design classes, or projects where you had to think outside the box. One summer break I went to work painting houses and drywall, which I’m also really good with. House painters are artists, I said it. During that summer after work I brought canvas to the construction site and used the open space to create. I put drywall plaster on canvas and used the hot Louisiana sun to dry the canvas. My favorite pieces are abstract contemporary. And I prefer completely flat smooth canvas to start my art. Graduated Arizona State University, Liberal Studies. Married Amanda, Son Liam.
