Artist Statement — Tiffany Hardy
My work is rooted in the deeply human moments that unfold inside a mammography room—moments of fear, relief, uncertainty, courage, and resilience. For more than twenty years, I have stood beside women as they faced some of the most vulnerable experiences of their lives. I have held their hands, calmed their fears, shared their tears, and celebrated their victories.
The Pink Angels collection was born from these encounters. The artwork represents the emotional world behind clinical breast imaging—an invisible landscape of hope, anxiety, strength, and connection. Each piece is inspired by a real patient, a real story, or a real moment that stayed with me long after the exam room lights were turned off.
I create to honor the women who have trusted me with their stories.
I create to soften the fear surrounding breast screening.
I create to bridge art and medicine in a way that educates while it heals.
My art is not just visual—it’s a vessel for empathy. It is a space where breast-health awareness meets emotional truth. It is a reminder that behind every mammogram is a woman with a story, and every story deserves dignity, compassion, and a voice.
